The Colombi automatic spring separators are available in three models for “On-Demand” delivery. All models are used for detangling and feeding small to medium compression springs and can be used in many different applications. |

The Colombi Speedfeeder is a pneumatic spring separator for detangling and feeding small compression springs. The Speedfeeder is ideal for applications involving cylindrical compression springs with at least two closed coils at each end. The Speedfeeder feeds the springs through tubes to the point of use and can be equipped with up to 5 outlets. For many types of springs, very high capacity is possible. A spring escapement is available as an accessory for feeding springs one at a time. As standard, the Speedfeeder is provided with PLC control, so that escapements, queuing sensors, monitors and alarm systems can easily be used. Capacity and separation rate (number of inseparable springs) depends on the design of the springs.

The Colombi Bigmatic is a mechanical spring separator for detangling and feeding medium to large compression springs. The Bigmatic is suitable for cylindrical compression springs with closed coils at each end. The Bigmatic is provided with PLC control, so that escapements, queuing sensors, monitors and alarm systems easily can be used. The Bigmatic can be equipped with 1 to 4 outlets. The capacity and separation rate (number of inseparable springs) depends on the design of the springs. For springs with the diameter of 5 mm and a length of 15 mm, the capacity is divided among them.

The Colombi Maximatic is a mechanical spring separator for untangling and feeding larger sized compression springs. The Maximatic is suitable for cylindrical compression springs with closed coils at each end. The Maximatic is also provided with PLC control, so that escapements, queuing sensors, monitors and alarm systems easily can be used. The Maximatic can be equipped with 1 to 4 outlets. The capacity and separation rate (number of inseparable springs) depends on the design of the springs. For springs with the diameter of 12 mm and a length of 25 mm, the capacity is about 70 springs per minute. If several output are used, the total capacity is divided among them.
